Main steps

The whole process of website development can be divided into 6 stages, which are performed sequentially:

1. Development of ToR. ITLab  analysts study the market situation in which the client operates, study his competitive environment. Next, a list of goals and objectives is formed, the achievement and solution of which the project should help, its main elements are described. This information is necessary to estimate the time and cost of website development. At the end of this stage, the terms of reference are agreed upon and the contract is signed.
2. Design. First, a UX designer is involved in the work. His task is to create a prototype that will reflect the structure of the site, its menu and the necessary blocks on each of the pages. The result of his work is transferred to the designer, who builds up elements of visual design on this “skeleton”. His task is to prepare at least 2 concepts, which will then be agreed with the client. A successful variant is submitted for layout.
3. Layout. The creation of the site begins already at this stage. The graphic layout is converted into HTML5/CSS3/JS code. This task is performed by an experienced frontend developer, who provides in advance the ability to connect the necessary functionality in the code.
4. Programming. At this stage, the full-fledged functionality of the site, defined in the Terms of Reference, is implemented. This can be a registration page, a personal account, the functionality of an online store, and anything else. Also at this stage, one of the content management systems is connected to the site, if necessary according to the TOR.
5. Testing. This is the last and most important stage, which allows you to detect and eliminate all critical errors in a timely manner. If all tests are successful, the site is published on the network or transferred to the client in the form of an archive with all the files necessary for work.
6. Initial content filling. The result of creating a turnkey site should be a ready-to-use project. This means that its pages should already contain up-to-date information about the company's activities, a list and description of its services and / or assortment. This task involves copywriters who compose advertising and informational texts in accordance with the specified requirements.
